Spiritual Growth in a Structured Community

This
community consists of people that recognize the need
to unlock the meaning in their lives and who want to
work together to make the world a better place.
In order to coordinate and manage this initiative , a
Board of Directors and the Ethos Life Network CC
(2005/026035/23) were established. This website and the
Ethos Life newsletter were launched during May 2005.
The following definitions may further clarify the
purpose of this initiative:

Ethos : Is a set of ideas, principles and
attitudes that is characteristic of a particular
group of people.

Life : Is the quality of being able to grow and
develop, which is present in people, plants and
animals.

Network: A network of people or organizations is
a large number of them that work together as a
system.
The
purpose of this initiative is to make a tangible
contribution to human development (quality of life)
in a variety of ways through for example, sharing
information, publishing a newsletter and website,
arranging workshops and seminars, managing a speaker
programme, presenting learning programmes, counseling
services and by managing human development projects on
behalf of our donors and sponsors.
We subscribe to
Christian principles and the message of Jesus Christ
as explained in the Bible, but we are also tolerant
and broadminded and accept members of all
religions who accept our code of conduct and
ethical principles.
We do not have strict
exclusive doctrines that exclude people on narrow
fundamentalist beliefs. We
operate in a truly ecumenical spirit of tolerance
and therefore invite Christians from all
denominations who believe in Jesus Christ of the
Bible to join us with this initiative.
